This guidance document provides best practices and essential strategies for establishing, managing, and sustaining citizen engagement networks that enable citizen participation in governance. It draws on the documentation of Kenya’s Regional Budget Hubs, a civic engagement network established by county-level budget practitioners in collaboration with Bajeti Hub.
We hope the regional hub model provides guidance to other Civil Society Members, or any other organized citizen engagement forum seeking to build a sustainable social accountability platform for effective systems change.
